“We use Busy Lizzie’s 3 x breakfast club and 3 x after school club per week for our son and we are so very impressed with the standard of care. The staff are all so attentive and provide such a happy, safe and clean environment for my child and they have really taken the time to get to know my son and settle him in. I have complete trust in all of them to take care of him and make sure he has fun, has a real variety of stimulating activities and a great selection of healthy food and snacks outside of playgroup hours. I like the fact they are very strict with washing hands and cleanliness. Mr and Mrs Llewellyn have been very flexible with our many changes to timings we have had to make to our wrap around care due to changes in our work patterns and we really appreciate this as we know not all schools can offer such flexibility. They have their admin side absolutely nailed and are incredibly organised. Great communications by email too. We could not be happier with Busy Lizzie’s. The standard of care is second to none and outstanding in our eyes.”

Provides a nurturing and caring environment
“Busy Lizzies provides fantastic wrap around care for both my children, Rufus and Maisie. They both love attending breakfast club and after school. Bizzie Lizzie provides a nurturing and caring environment where both my children feel safe and cared for. There are lots of activities for them to do for example drawing, reading in the book corner, outside play, fun games and singing. When I asked Maisie what she thought she said – ” it’s fantastic I love it and I want to keep going!” The food provided is healthy and varied – I was very impressed when I arrived early to see them all sitting quietly, eating calmly and taking their plates up when they have finished. The communication is excellent too – regular emails are sent and the website is very informative. Having the Busy Lizzie’s team look after my children has made going back to work a lot easier for me as I know that they are well looked after. They do an excellent job.”

“I just wanted say to a big thank you to you both and all the lovely staff at busy Lizzies kids club and holiday club. Scarlett and Dylan thoroughly enjoy it, all the games and fantastic activities that you all have all put so much effort into planning. The holiday club is excellent and allows me to go to work knowing that my children are safe and very well cared for. I also wanted to say thank you for being so flexible this year in allowing me to add additional sessions when the needed.”

“Thank you so much for the fantastic service you provide as busylizzies! Josh absolutely loves coming to you and on the days he is a bit reluctant to be left you and your team are brilliant with him. It’s so reassuring to know how well he is being looked after and that they get to play outside as well. “My daughter has settled in quickly and appears relaxed and happy in both breakfast club and after school club. The staff have been conscientious about her allergies and have been flexible when organising the menu. They even changed one of the options on the menu after I expressed concern that I had not yet given my daughter shell fish and was worried that she might have a reaction. There was no fuss, they just changed things in order to be safe. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. My daughter talks about them fondly. I also received feedback from them soon after she started, to tell me how she was settling in. This feedback demonstrated to me that they had been paying attention and had got to know her very quickly. There have been a couple of occasions when she’s been a bit under the weather and on these occasions the staff have taken appropriate action e.g. giving her some of her inhaler, and have informed us when collecting her. The staff have also helped with communication between us and the school, ensuring letters to her teacher get out of her book bag and to her teacher. I feel safe leaving my daughter at Busy Lizzies. I know they will take care of her and I know that they will work with me to meet my child’s needs.”

My children come away happy and relaxed… 
“Both of my children Polly aged 5 yrs and Ben aged 4 years attended bengeo Playgroup where the flourished. Now that they are in Reception and Year One, they take advantage of the breakfast and after school clubs, as well as the Busy Lizzie’s holiday club. As a parent, I have always found Liz and Tony Llewelyn who run these groups (along with their team of staff) to be beyond professional in their approach and delivery of service. They have been accommodating, flexible and responsive when I have needed adhoc sessions. My children come away happy and relaxed and more often than not with something creative for mummy and daddy. The best testimonial I can offer is that sometimes my son asks “am I going to after school club today?” and if I say” no, not today” he is utterly disappointed!!!! I can’t speak highly enough of Liz and her whole team who work so hard to offer my children a home away from home while I am working.”

“Our two daughters attend Busylizzies After School Club three days per week and we could not be happier with the care they receive. From the start they have built a close trusting relationship with the staff. They talk about all members of staff fondly and have good interaction on all levels. They enjoy a good range of different activities at the Club and are always encouraged to try new things. We are kept informed at all times of their progress and feel we can contact Liz or Tony at any time if we have any concerns or need assistance in any way. Our daughters have their tea at the Club each evening and we are more than happy with the meals they are given. We are consulted regarding menu changes and if our daughters do not like something they will always try to find an alternative for them. We could not be happier with the care our children receive and the support given to us by Tony and Liz and all the staff at Busylizzies. We could not speak too highly of them.”

“Just a quick note to let you know how impressed I have been with the provision at Busylizzies after school club for Adam and Jacob (4&6). Since starting in September they have been very happy in what appears to be a stimulating environment built on foundations of friendship and respect. My children have made many new friends at the club since starting which is testament to the friendly atmosphere you have created. I’ve also been impressed by your recent consultation on the dinner provision. Your menu is healthy and does not duplicate what is offered at lunchtime. Additionally I ought to say something about your holiday club. This half term Adam insisted that he attend for at least one day, which was why we put them in – despite already having taken leave to cover half term! This is indicative of the varied and exciting programme of activities that are arranged on a daily basis. Ultimately I am very grateful for the supportive, caring and encouraging childcare you have provided for my children thus far. “I would like to take the time to let you all know how much I appreciate Busy Lizzies. As a self employed working Mum I have been torn between what form of childcare to use over the years. Abigail has been to several other facilities and I have had to take her out due to her unhappiness. I was unsure how she would be when she first started Busy Lizzies, but I was very quickly reassured by her reaction each time she finished and the excitement in the mornings. To this day I have not had any comments that she does not want to go to Busy Lizzies. I have not used the holiday club as yet but i will do in the summer with no doubts or concerns of her having a great time. I have been very pleased with the flexibility of the after school club, I know if there is enough space I could book Abigail into an extra session should I need it. This is very reassuring for me because my work can vary from week to week. I have found the staff at Busy Lizzies to be friendly, approachable and caring. I am pleased that Abigail is provided with a cooked meal every session. Thank you to you and your team, you provide a fantastic service.”
